Finally, my second novel is available for sale -- the paperback is up right now on Amazon, and I expect the Kindle version to be up by the weekend. It's exciting seeing it there, on my Amazon page, right next to Finding Erin Campbell.
Beautiful Lies is a bit of a departure for me. Most of what I've written (and what I continue to write) would be classified as YA fiction. This one is a bit more difficult to categorize. One of the protagonists, Regina, is a teenager, which suggests another YA story. But the second protagonist, Laura -- who is equally important -- is a 44-year-old woman with mysterious connections to Regina's parents. The story is as much theirs as it is Regina's, and the perspective shifts between Regina and Laura as they come closer and closer to understanding the truth about their relationship.
I want to thank all of you who have supported me and my writing over the past few months. I’m so gratified by all the positive feedback I’ve received on Finding Erin Campbell, including the great reviews posted on Amazon. I hope some of you will post reviews on the new book, once you’ve had a chance to read it. And as always, I’m as interested in critical commentary as I am in praise – both are essential to the success of any writer.
I'll keep you posted as things develop . . .
